In a recent interview with MTV News, Bishop Lamont addresses the controversial collaboration project with Crooked I and G Malone titled “No Country For Old Men”. Lamont has stated that the project will take shots at West Coast veterans such as Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube for not reaching out to the new generation. However, Lamont wants to assure fans that the project will not only contain diss records. Apparently “top-notch” and up-and-coming producers will be creating hits for the project. Lamont stated that fans should look forward to this release dropping in May or June of this year. Fans may question whether or not this project is the right direction for these emcees to step in, but there are reasonable points being made. Only time will tell whether or not this project takes shape.
