Earlier this month we ran a story on how Crooked I opened up to The Wake Up Show’s King Tech regarding the recent attempt on his life. Crooked I explained that the incident affected him on such a level that it has caused him to reinvent himself. In a recent interview with DubCNN, Crooked I revealed that he linked up with King Tech to start the transition. Apparently, during their studio session, Crooked I recorded seven brand new songs in a single day. Crooked says that, “tomorrow is not promised,” so he is making certain that he leaves his mark today. The emcee is touching on subjects that anyone can relate to such as losing a relative or simply surviving the hood. It is reassuring to know that Crooked I is using this negative experience as a means of giving back through his music. We are all looking forward to hear what he creates during this new chapter in his musical career.
