Crooked I “Interviews” Wu-Tang’s Rakewon

In a recent video put out by Guerilla Union, the organization responsible for The Paid Dues and Rock The Bells Tours, Crooked I had the chance to jump in on an interview with Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan. While Crooked I was not the official reporter for this interview, he took it upon himself to clear up a little known fact with Raekwon from back in the day. Crooked I questioned why MC Eiht appeared in the video for “Can It Be All So Simple”. Raekwon explains that MC Eiht just happened to be in the building for the shoot and they decided that since he was on the scene, he might as well make a cameo appearance. For those of you who may be wondering how Crooked I and Raekwon appeared on screen together for this interview, both emcees will be appearing on the bill for 2009’s Rock The Bells Tour which is kicking off this summer. Of course the two emcees are not strangers to sharing the mic as they recently appeared together on the song “Yes Sir” which also features Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah. In fact, the C.O.B. and Wu-Tang connection runs deeper as Crooked I appeared on the remix to RZA’s “We Pop” with Method Man several years back. Hopefully, there will be many Crooked I and Wu-Tang collaborations in the future. As far as the interview goes, check out the link provided below for further details and the secret behind Raekwon’s legendary “Purple Tape”.
