XXLMag.com posted a new article today giving more love to the Slaughterhouse super-group. The article explains how there is no doubt that the group will save rap music from itself, but the best thing they bring to the table is the transformation of Crooked I and Joell Ortiz. The author states that both artists have the most to gain from the Slaughterhouse movement and have more ground to cover ahead of them. With that being said XXL is not discounting Royce Da 5’9 and Joe Budden by any stretch of the imagination, they are simply stating that they have more “wear and tear” as artists. This is an interesting point and has been covered by Slaughterhouse fans since day one. It’s nice to see a media outlet not discounting Crooked I and Joell Ortiz for the future. The article also includes links to two musical pieces. The first is Ortiz jamming with The Roots earlier this week. The second is Ortiz writing to a track called “Stand Up” that is produced by Novel. There is no word on where the song will eventually end up, but we will keep you up-to-date on that issue. For the full write up check out XXLMag.com and keep it locked to The B.O.S.S.
