Slaughterhouse Photoshoot Recap

In the latest installment of Joe Budden’s BlogTV broadcast, fans were given the chance to watch the photo shoot for the highly anticipated Slaughterhouse album. The photo shoot appeared to be broken into four segments and it is unclear whether or not all photos will be used for the album cover or general promotion. During the first round of photography, Slaughterhouse members were each given a different character to portay. Joe Budden appeared in his orange jumpsuit and straight-jacket, Joell Ortiz posed in the butcher’s outfit, Royce Da 5’9″ appeared to be a grave digger and Crooked I’s shoot involved a dead pig’s head. The photographer explained that he will be using the pictures to create a horror movie scene that will resemble “Friday The 13th”. During the second and third sections of the photo shoot, each member was given a chance to pose in their regular clothing and take head shots which will more than likely be used for promotional purposes. Finally, all members of Slaughterhouse came together for some group shots. Although the shoot ran nearly seven hours we were unable to obtain additional information regarding the upcoming album. However, Joe Budden did state that the album release date is still not set in stone and that they are negotiating with E1/Koch Records. Even though the group was tied up with the photo shoot, fans did get a chance to interact with their favorite group members. Although each member got some camera time, it is clear that Joe Budden and Royce Da 5’9″ are the stars of the live steam show.
