Slaughterhouse’s “The One” Premiered On MTV2

The One

Today is a monumental day for the Slaughterhouse movement as the video for their DJ Khalil produced single “The One” premiered on MTV2’s “Sucker Free Sunday”. The video grabbed the countdown’s number fourteen spot and premiered above 50 Cent’s “Ok, You’re Right”. Fans should be excited to know that the Rik Cordero directed video definitely lived up to expectations and should have no problem getting regular rotation. The video is set in a house party type environment filled with “sex, drugs and dirty money”, no pun intended. This is a perfect introduction to the Slaughterhouse movement as it illustrates that the group takes their craft seriously, but still take the time to have a little fun. Fans will love the humorous introduction and closing segment that features a cameo by Joe Budden’s long-time girlfriend Tahiry. There is no doubt that new fans will be able to relate to this video after one viewing as it’s a feel good song. If you missed the video’s premier on MTV2, keep it locked to MTV Jams as it should be recieving regular rotation throughout the day. However, you can view the video’s uncut version online as well using the link provided below. We’d like to congratulate Slaughterhouse on this accomplishment and wish them all the success in the world. You can support the group by purchasing “The One” as a digital download through iTunes and by picking up their self-titled album on August 11th. It the mean time, keep it locked to The B.O.S.S. Board for the latest news regarding the super-group.
