Last week, Slaughterhouse had the Internet going wild after their cameo appearance alongside Eminem in the video for Drake’s Forever. Rumors instantly began to circulate that the super-group was in talks to sign to Eminem’s Shady Records. Well, after a recent interview, one-fourth of the collective has spoken on the issue.
In a recent sit down with MTV, Royce Da 5’9″ opens up about the situation with Slaughterhouse and Shady Records. Royce explains to readers that the video appearance was a non-verbal announcement of the group’s contract negotiations with Shady Records. Apparently, Slaughterhouse has been in talks with the label for a month now and that a deal is certainly possible. Royce goes on to explain that this cameo alongside Eminem is only the first of many collaborations between these two forces in the near future. This should definitely be exciting news for both fans of Slaughterhouse and the camp at Shady Records.
