Slaughterhouse’s “The One” Remix Now Available

The One (Remix)

That’s right everyone, after much anticipation, the Slaughterhouse and Travis Barker collaborative remix has now hit the Internet. As expected, Barker does such an incredible job, that listeners would probably have a hard time recognizing the song as a remix.

Originally, there was much speculation as to which song Slaughterhouse had chosen to remix. Well, today we can finally confirm that the super-group remixed their lead single The One which was originally produced by DJ Khalil. Because the song already had rock appeal and influence, it was simple for Barker to bring his own energy to the song by laying down live drum patterns. Interestingly enough, Travis Barker was not the only big name recruited for this re-imagining. The group also invited Bun B of UGK to joint them on the song. This of course is an interesting choice as the group has often stated that Bun B is the unofficial fifth member of Slaughterhouse. All in all this is a great remix and we encourage fans to check it out using the download link or song player included below.

The group has also decided to release a short music video of Travis Barker laying down the drum patterns for the new remix. If you are interested in checking that out, please use the embedded video player located below this article. In the mean time, please keep it locked to The B.O.S.S. Board for additional Slaughterhouse updates.
