Crooked I Addresses “Hood Star” In New Freestyle

While Crooked I prepares for the release of his brand new EP Planet COB Vol. 1 on July 4th, the Boss of the West has returned once again with a brand new freestyle speaking on a very controversial matter.

Although several emcees have already tackled Alica Key’s Unthinkable, it was only right that Crooked I took a shot at the now classic R&B instrumental. On Crooked I’s I’m Ready, the Long Beach legend addresses the controversial release of Wide Awake Entertainment and Death Row’s Hood Star album. Crooked I openly states that he is not supporting the release and urges his fans not to make a purchase. We encourage everyone to check out this freestyle in full by using the download link or music player included below.

Please make sure to purchase Planet COB Vol. 1 on July 4th and avoid the Hood Star release at all costs. In the mean time, fans will be able to purchase an updated version of Crooked I’s last EP More Pig Face Weapon Waist on June 8th. As always, keep it locked to The B.O.S.S. Board for further Crooked I related news updates.
