it is.  it's a new sound for the group but the song is alright.  when they've given us picture of anger, liquor abuse, homeless and countless tracks can't complain.  this album is gonna be fire.

So I was just listening to MMV12 and heard the snippets for this again and it got me thinking. What do you think the plan is with this album, it would certainly seem to be a finished product if there are snippets and HSG seems to record a project quickly. But as time passes all the people who followed MM but also listen to a wide variety of other artists(IE not me) will likely have the HSG fade from their thoughts over time. I was really hoping they would do what Crooked failed to do with the weekly series and release it at the end of the run.

Now one would have to assume that the numbers weren't projected to be what SMH wanted but HSG has put albums out before that you would imagine made them money so that makes me think there may be a plan, I would think any point after this month that HSG isn't putting a full project out people will forget, I realize they are doing these youtube videos but I'm not convinced that is enough to keep everyone who listened to the MM series invested in their work, case in point, I've only seen the first one of the 8 they have done and consider myself a massive HSG fan.

I honestly wonder if they shouldn't have packaged it in with Sex Money & Hip Hop instead of the second copy or maybe as a digital download to tie people over until SMHH arrived in the mail, potentially opening up them to even more people? However to be fair on the other side of the coin, you could argue that anyone buying a Crooked album has already heard of HSG and made their choice and a free album wouldn't change that, I suppose there's a chance that there are some people who stumbled onto HSG on datpiff and haven't heard Crooked and would buy his album to get HSG or the minority(minorit-me...am I right) of people who didn't want to buy a physical copy of Crooks album but would have in able get HSG's

So anyway I'm just wondering what the plan could be, surely SMH isn't stupid enough to just drop it without proper promotion, but I can't imagine what would be better than a year of music in a row and HSG makes music fast enough that I feel they could have profited on this project in Dec/Jan and had a new project ready for whenever which makes me think there either isn't a plan or they are worried they won't even break even on their investment and are trying to figure out a way to.

Anyone see something I'm missing, or have another angle you think they might be coming at this from? Any innovate ideas you want to throw into the universe because you'll never be in the position to profit off of it?

Seriously! I don't get this whole announce a near finished project(snippets and it's from a group who can clearly make a full project in weeks) and then just not mention it or give any sort of update on it for over 6 months. It's a shame because it really feels like it could end up lost to time and there was quite a number of tracks off those snippets I'd love to hear

Kind of hoping someone comes in here with some info I've missed from their twitter or Youtube series
